When I'm not teaching yoga, I enjoy writing...mostly about yoga!
Bodhi Tree Pose Blog
I write a blog called Bodhi Tree Pose
, where I collect my thoughts about my favorite topics: practicing and teaching yoga, meditating, Yin Yoga, and yoga therapy.
The most daunting topic to write about, and the one that’s ultimately most interesting to me, is the one that inspired the name “Bodhi Tree Pose” – my ongoing effort to integrate, in a truly genuine way, the practices of yoga asana and meditation (primarily from the Vipassana/Insight tradition) for myself and for my students.
The Bodhi Tree is the place where the Buddha attained enlightenment, and Tree Pose (Vrksasana) is a well-known yoga pose...thus, Bodhi Tree Pose.
Feel free to read, comment, and share! Here are a few of my most popular posts:
I occasionally write for yoga and wellness magazines on topics like practice, meditation, and the art of teaching. Here's some of my published work.

I also write and edit yoga teacher training manuals, helping to develop curriculum and clearly communicate the intricacies of yoga practice, anatomy, history, and philosophy. This is a rewarding challenge that keeps me in a constant state of refining my own understanding of yoga and what it means.
